Pinky Chicky Pouch

Finished this Pinky Chicky Pouch few days ago but I'm very lazy to post it though I'm playing around here for hours.

Approximate size: 20cm (l) x 14.5cm (h)

Again, this pouch was requested from my friend's sister. My friend is very good indeed in promoting my stuffs *wink*. Before, I received 2-3 tote bag orders from her sisters and I'm really thankful to be given such opportunity.

Well, move to the next chapter. Today, I would like to introduce to all my dear viewers the new Only Sweet Thing {OST} product. It is Decorative Pin (DP). The one you see in the pictures is Love Me Lot DP.

My Fabrics Collection

I keep on buying cute pretty fabrics since a year ago. At that time, I just bought a new sewing machine so the feelings of making something is very strong in me. Things become worst when I have my Paypal account. Since then, I've been buying fabrics from Taiwan, Japan and etc.

But... this habit of buying more and more fabrics stop when Korean bug hits me badly. I realized that I should stop buying fabrics and save more money if I wanna visit Korea one fine day. Though it is not 100% stopped, but I'm more careful and know how to control my feelings when I fall in love with new chirpy colorful fabrics.

So, these are my fabrics collection. Not much compared with other crafter but I spend A LOT on these! Sometimes, I'm regretting of buying those fabrics but in other times, I just can't keep my hands away of the fabrics. I still remember, few months back, when I have to stop sewing due to my study, I could spend hours just looking at the fabrics. I will lay them on the floor. Touch it and once I'm satisfied, I will fold and put them back in the box. See, that's how fabrics affected me a lot.

Well, thats all for now. Just feel like sharing something other than my handmade stuffs with all of you. ^^

Lil' Chicky Pink Pouch

Yesterday, I spend my time to finish this little pouch. This was requested by my friend's brother for his little daughter. That is the reason why I've named it Lil' Chicky Pink Pouch.

I really love this fabric. The soft pink color, the sweet chick design...And, what I'm regretting most is, I've only bought this for 1 meter. During that time, I don't have any ideas that it would match perfectly with the rainbow stripe. If only....

I bought this bookmark few weeks ago. I've been admired other crafter's work on this, so I decided to buy a set for myself to give it a try. Not much of stuffs to hang on it. No beads and whatever the used.

Since my new charms collection arrived last week, I just used it as the embellishment. Will update about the new charms later. They are very pretty charms I must say ^__^

I have not finished reading this novel yet. "The Devil Wears PRADA". I think the name suits the bookmark much. Pretty suitable for girls who love shopping and crazy with fashion!

This is my 1st customer's ordered after I'm start receiving the orders back. Actually, this book cover is ready made stock. What I did today was just stitched the bookmarks. This time, I've changed the usually way I placed the bookmark. Instead, I put it in the middle because the word is quite long. And I stitched buttons at the end of the ribbon.

Re-branding

I've been thinking for ages about these. Should or should not? Should or should not? For me, re-branding seems I have to start everything again from zero. Well not actually total zero but I need to design new header, new logo, new name card (Do I have name card for felt cabin?), new blog (I could just use this one but I don't know why I keep telling myself to make new ones) and bla bla bla.....

Why re-branding id you already comfortable with the old ones? Ah~~ I just want something which is more 'good looking' and proper. Felt Cabin, if I'm not mistaken was set up a year ago. During that time, I've just finished my practical training. I just made it for fun and never think to make money from Felt Cabin. But as time passed by, I really enjoy being here. Though sometimes, it caused me stress (because of marketing, budget, stocks etc) yet I still spend my time here.

If I set up a new blog, this blog will still exist. I don't intend to close it down since I've started it here. I've learned a lot from here. Just wait for my new shop!
